Lina Maria Ferreira Cabeza-Vanegas has MFA degrees in both creative nonfiction and a literary translation, both from the University of Iowa. Her work has been featured in a few journals, including The Bellingham Review, The Chicago Review and Brevity. She is Colombian and only mildly self-destructive.
